LAMBDA es una oficina enfocada en la producción de arquitectura y territorio a través de la práctica, crítica e investigación. Es una formación cambiante fundada en el 2012.

Es un espacio donde impera la necesidad de cuestionar y tomar posiciones críticas frente a la realidad. Cada uno de los proyectos se considera dentro de un contexto teórico-conceptual mayor y que supera al proyecto en sí mismo.

Es una práctica derivativa que construye contenido y lógicas que informan la concepción de estrategias formales.

Los Lambdas (siglo XVI) fueron la primera infantería griega en utilizar diversas formaciones militares en base a circunstancias bélicas específicas. Los Lambdas son la génesis del uso estratégico de la forma.

LAMBDA is an office focused on the production of architecture and territory through practice, criticism, and research.

It is a changing formation founded in 2012. It's a space where the need to question and take critical positions toward reality prevails.

Each of the projects is considered within a larger theoretical-conceptual framework that goes beyond the project itself. It's a derivative practice that builds content and logics that inform the conception of formal strategies.

The Lambdas (16th century) was the first Greek infantry to use various military formations based on specific warlike circumstances. The Lambdas are the genesis of the strategic use of form.

Director

Claudio Cuneo Raffo, holds a Master of Excellence in Architecture and Urban Design by the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam, the Netherlands (2013) and a Bachelor’s degree from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas UPC in Lima, Peru (2005). He currently teaches at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. He previously taught at the UPC (2009-2014) and ULIMA (2015). His work has been awarded at the XV Peruvian Architecture Biennial (2012), selected at the V International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (2012) and XVI Buenos Aires International Architecture Biennial (2017).
